Whale watching adventures out of Anacortes are a significant contributor to the local economy. Among several local vessels is the Mystic Sea, pictured here returning to Cap Sante Boat Haven in the early evening from a weekday jaunt to the islands. Already tied up next door after a beautiful day of whale watching is the Island Explorer.
