Wonders of technology

Seems like only yesterday I was spending time at the library, often in the reference section where I could access expensive collections such as encyclopedia sets. Today I sit in my car outside of the Anacortes Public Library. I have taken photos with my digital camera (no film, no processing). I have uploaded images, selected and edited a shot. Now I have accessed the Internet on my laptop and I am making this entry onto my blog, adding photo and text for the entertainment of the masses. Affordable technology, the ability to package and communicate with the world ... all out of a backpack. And through the Internet I can access any information (and more!) that I would have found in printed reference books. Mind boggling.
