Traffic volume can be heavy at the Anacortes ferry terminal from now through early fall. It might be worth your while to check the video images available at the Washington State Ferries (WSF) website. Ferries move not only to and from the renowned San Juan Islands, but to and from our sister city in Sidney, British Columbia as well. Images auto-refresh every five minutes.
Thanks for posting this link. I remember as a kid going on the Mukilteo ferry. That was major excitement for me, our version of a cruise ship!
