Once again Sunday morning I was treated to a chance to watch sea kayakers moving from south Fidalgo Island's Bowman's Bay to Deception Pass for skills training. This photograph records the lead kayaker moving toward Canoe Pass Bridge to test the waters before beckoning to his friends. Someday soon I hope to take a kayak trip, but I don't believe the churning waters of Deception Pass will be on my intinerary.
